Besides Family based sponsorship for Permanent residency, there are some other programs as well, which can be adopted for immigration to Canada. Few main among them are listed as:
- Express Entry: Express Entry is online immigration application management system. Canadian Experience class, Federal Skilled workers, Federal Skilled Trade Workers Program and some PNPs lie under Express entry. Eligibility of the Candidate for express entry is based on the scores he obtains in Comprehensive Ranking System. Invitation is offered to the Candidates who have highest scores. - Canadian Experience class: As program name itself tells that this is for the candidate who has Canadian work experience of at least one year in past 3 years, falling in NOC 0, A & B occupation and it is processed under express entry program.
- Federal Skilled Trade Worker: The candidates who qualified in a skilled trade are eligible to apply for Permanent Residency under this Category. They must have 2 years of work experience in skilled trade within last 5 years and meet the job requirements for that skilled trade as per National Occupation Classification (NOC). The candidate should have Valid job offer of full-time employment for a total period of one year OR certificate of qualification in that skilled trade.
- Federal Skilled Worker: Skilled workers are people who are chosen as permanent residents based on their ability to prosper in Canada having foreign work experience.
